Detailed Description

Providing Magpul construction and ingenuity to the venerable AK platform, the Magpul MOE AK Stock is an optimized fixed stock for most stamped-receiver rifles.

Featuring the unique wedge block fitment of the Zhukov-S Stock, the MOE AK Stock provides internal storage, optimized QD sling swivel placement, a shock-absorbing rubber butt-pad for positive placement, and user-selectable snap-on Cheek Risers (sold separately.)

The rubber butt-pad provides an anti-slip surface and increases impact protection. The rollover on the toe allows for easier shoulder transitions and a better fit when using body armor.

Features:

  • Minimum weight and bulk with reinforced polymer A-frame construction.
  • Internal storage compartment optimized for factory AK cleaning kit.
  • Impact absorbing rubber butt-pad.

Specs:

  • Compatibility: Stamped receiver AK pattern rifles with fixed stock, single tang trunnion.
  • Length: 9.4 in.
  • Length of Pull: ~12.8 in.
  • Weight: 12.5 oz.

Note: Due to the wide range of tolerances of your typical AK, minor fitting of the stock may be required. Not compatible with Yugo pattern AKs or the Norinco Type 56S / MAK-90 due to differences in the trunnion’s tang. Not compatible with traditional milled-receiver rifles.

Not bad

Had to get a 2nd longer screw to fit it right. Did some googling and it is a common problem with some ak's. You cam order a screw set from magpul, or look through some ak forums to find the right kind of screw to get from a hardware store. There is a slight gap on mine, which again i read some people saying there should be and its only an aestetic issue. Haven't taken it out to shoot yet so not sure if it will affect it. But it seems sturdy as is and it more comfortable than the polymer that came with mine. I would advise having your own handheld hex driver. The one that comes with works but the loctite that comes on them can make them pretty stiff and it's easy to start stripping the bolt. Used my own driver and it made it way easier. If you don't have one you can just scrape off the stuff that comes on it and put some fresh loc on to make it easier. Would give it 5 instead of 4 if it wasn't for the screw issue since it seems like they should include 2 sets by now with all the complaints I saw online.
