The AKML Aimpoint Micro mount is designed to be used in conjunction with the AK-300 series lower mounts. The AK-300 Modular Side Mounts are the world’s first modular side rail system and allows users to change upper optic mounts as needed. In addition, users can adjust both over-bore and front-to-back position of the upper, ensuring their optic is perfectly placed.

Best way to mount a red dot to an AK.

Being able to adjust the mount left-right is a huge benefit considering AK manufacturer specs are more like guidelines. This will even cowitness the irons with some red dots.
