The Daniel Defense Lightweight 16” 5.56 barrel is perfect for those looking to shed a few ounces on their AR-15 build without sacrificing durability or accuracy. These lightweight barrels are Cold Hammer Forged, a process that sets them apart from other barrel manufacturers. They are also forged from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel, Mil-spec heavy phosphate coated and chrome lined with mid-length gas system.
