Product Description

The modern warrior’s helmet is a platform for command and control technology.  From lights and cameras to strobes and illuminators, helmets are uniquely able to point accessories where the operator’s eyes are facing.  This makes mounting visual and recording devices a paramount concern.

The Remora™ is an add-on accessory that integrates a FUSION™ interface into the MARK™ comms mounting system. It provides a lightweight, low profile platform for a variety of accessories such as task lights, digital recording devices, infrared illuminators, and more.  The FUSION™ footprint makes it compatible with all FUSION™ accessories.  So, operators can attach rings, M1913 rail, or direct-mount devices.  The Remora™ can be pivoted 15 degrees around the MARK™ hub, allowing light and camera angles to be customized.

Remora™ is compatible with all existing MARK™ systems and all mounting hardware is included. Available in black only.

False description - incompatible!

I purchased this to mount my task light exactly as pictured in the photos of the product here. I read this in the description:

“Remora™ is compatible with all existing MARK™ systems and all mounting hardware is included. Available in black only.”

Unfortunately, I found out the hard way this is FALSE. On another retailers website it makes more sense:

“NOTE: Remora MARK Mount fits Mark 1 adapters and is not compatible with MARK 2.”

I sincerely wish I didn’t have to spend $37 for a product that is completely incompatible with my setup because this item description specifically said that it was. Do not buy this if you have a newer set of MARK adapters.
