Unity Tactical AXON SL

Flat Dark Earth (FDE)

Product Description

AXON™ SL is the smaller, single button switch in the AXON™ family. It hardmounts directly to an M1913 Rail. AXON™ SL features a 45-degree angled button face for an ergonomically correct activation angle, making it easy to index under stress, while wearing PPE or facing extreme environmental conditions.

Molded from high-impact polymer, AXON™ SL holds up to abuse in the field. The mechanical switch design allows weapon light models to fire in both momentary and constant-on modes in a familiar click tailcap design. Laser versions utilize a momentary only switch to facilitate use with the native double-click-for-constant-on feature found in most common lasers on the market. Dual-lead variants are SYNC, firing both light and laser simultaneously.

AXON™ SL is available in single-lead and dual-lead variants with standard 7″ cables:

  • Rail Mount: MIL-STD M1913
  • Dimensions (W X L X H): IN: 1.16 X 1.56 X 0.96 (CM: 2.95 X 3.96 X 2.44)
  • Weight:  OZ: 1.0 (G: 28.3)
  • Material: High-Impact Polymer
  • Cable Length: 7″ or Custom upon Request with MOQ

Good switch

It’s a unity… top of the line can’t complain

Best remote switch out right now.

I’ve owned Surefire switches, ModButtons, and both 1913 and MLOK Unity Hot Buttons. These have all worked well enough but I’m sticky with Unity’s new Axon for I’m here on out.

Aesthetically it looks nice (don’t lie, you know that matters) but the Axon has improved ergos over the others and I’ve found it 100% reliable. No flicker or failure over 1000-ish rounds and hard use. None of these other switches have been as reliable for me. I’ll slowly be upgrading my other rifles with these now.

Also, MILSPEC Retail is always top notch. Free shipping and usually 1 day processing keeps me coming back. Solid switch, solid business.

Works great, if you get a good one.

I have 5 axon switches. 3 are the two lead sync variant, and two are the single SL. If those 5, two had to be replaced, because of plug/switch issues (milspec retail never responded to the email about this issue). This one had an issue with the plug, where you had to rotate and push on it, to get the light to actuate. I verified my ds00 tailcap was ok but testing it with a sf sr07 and modbutton. Both worked as they should, so it was definitely an issue with this switch. I sent the switch to Unity, and they determined that it was, in fact, faulty, and are sending me a replacement. I ordered another from a different vendor, with better customer service, in case there was an issue, and it worked flawlessly. I ordered another, because I wasn’t sure how long Unity would take to send me a replacement (it took a few days, after they received it), and I needed a switch quickly. It’s a great switch, IF you happen to get a good one. Hopefully Unity is using the returned switches to improve their design/qc. I’ll continue to use these, but just know, that there’s a chance you may get a bad one. If you do happen to get a bad one, Unity will take care of you.
