I have 5 axon switches. 3 are the two lead sync variant, and two are the single SL. If those 5, two had to be replaced, because of plug/switch issues (milspec retail never responded to the email about this issue). This one had an issue with the plug, where you had to rotate and push on it, to get the light to actuate. I verified my ds00 tailcap was ok but testing it with a sf sr07 and modbutton. Both worked as they should, so it was definitely an issue with this switch. I sent the switch to Unity, and they determined that it was, in fact, faulty, and are sending me a replacement. I ordered another from a different vendor, with better customer service, in case there was an issue, and it worked flawlessly. I ordered another, because I wasn’t sure how long Unity would take to send me a replacement (it took a few days, after they received it), and I needed a switch quickly. It’s a great switch, IF you happen to get a good one. Hopefully Unity is using the returned switches to improve their design/qc. I’ll continue to use these, but just know, that there’s a chance you may get a bad one. If you do happen to get a bad one, Unity will take care of you.
