To help better serve our customers, we have implemented an improved search engine into the site. This new system allows us to create and manage an index of synonyms, which improves results when a user misspells a brand name or uses a different term to describe the product than our listing.
For example, searching “M-LOK” will now show results for any product described as “MLOK”, “M-LOK”, “MLOCK” etc.
The system also anonymously logs all user searches, which helps our purchasing department identify products customers are looking for but we don’t yet stock, and forecast demand for very popular products.
