  • The rim of the pouch is lined with an adjustable shock cord loop to keep the contents secure and slip free even if they are significantly smaller than the pouch itself
  • The top of the pouch features both hook & loop and pull tabs so you can choose between the included scrim cover or an adjustable shock cord flap
  • Both options are included with every SPUD pouch. The scrim cover, when pulled tight will wrap around any irregular shapes and keep the user’s kit fully locked into the pouch while still maintaining full coverage

The Spiritus Systems Padded foam insert can be used to pad the interior of a Small or Medium GP against shock. The insert features a Velcro hook field that engages with the interior Velcro of the GP pouches.

  • The flaps of the padded insert collapse to form a protective box that will accommodate night vision binoculars or other sensitive items. Once fully installed, the insert does not cover the 6th (interior) side of the pouch. This is to maximize internal storage capacity. The design relies on the torso of the wearer to provide the 6th wall of protection for the item
  • The outer surface of the foam pad is backed with loop Velcro and will accept any hook Velcro accessory attachments so small items like batteries or tools can be affixed and located quickly and easily

  • The bags were built with an offset MOLLE configuration which allows the user to wear the plates as far forward on the cummerbund as possible. Wearing your side armor as far forward allows for side plate to front plate contact, and closes a small gap in protection left over by traditional side armor systems currently on the market.
